Today I had a pretty cool phone call with Michael Specht. Michael specialises in HR, Online Recruiting and Enterprise 2.0. What made it cool was the fact I was using a cordless phone and we were chatting via Skype.

Now that's nothing special yet for me, working in the relatively conservative health insurance industry, it was a breathe of fresh air. Here was someone I could have a real conversation with about the world of Web 2.0 and social media!

So Michael agreed to become a 'guinea pig' and became one of the first people outside GMHBA Health Insurance to check out our live streaming, webchat enabled, callback enabled, Skype enabled customer contact centres.

So here I sit, tapping away on my laptop smiling to the camera, waiting for the amazement to begin! LOL!
